NEW: The Arizona Partnership for Success Request for Grant Applications Announcement

Applications for the Arizona Partnership for Success Grant (RFGA#: PFS-DSG-19-080119-00) are now being accepted. Approximately $900,000 will be awarded to programs throughout Arizona to implement evidence-based/evidence-informed or promising substance use and abuse prevention programming that is designed to prevent and/or reduce alcohol and/or marijuana use by current/former foster youth ages 9-20, and/or their caregivers.

The grant, with a maximum annual award of $150,000 per grantee, is renewable for a combined term of four years. The grant application will close at 12 midnight on September 12, 2019. The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family invites grant applications from Arizona entities that include 501(c)(3) Organizations; Local, County-based Substance Abuse Prevention Coalitions; and, Arizona Tribal Nations, Tribal Coalitions and Tribal Communities with a minimum of two years of experience providing trauma-informed services to current/former foster youth and/or their caregivers.

The funds awarded under this Request for Grant Application are federal funds and were made available by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration or the Strategic Prevention Framework – Partnership for Success Grant. The grant is pursuant to the authority of Section 516 of the Public Health Service Act (45 C.F.R. 75.113 and Appendix XII to 45 C.F.R. Part 75) and is subject to the requirements, terms and regulations of this statute.
