$3.5 million allocated for high school substance abuse prevention

Governor Doug Ducey has made it a priority to battle substance abuse, especially among Arizona's youth. To support these efforts, $3.5 million in new funding will be dedicated to substance abuse prevention programs for high school youth. Federal funding was obtained through a block grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Arizona schools can apply for funding to implement prevention programs in their high schools at https://procure.az.gov/bso.
